Key points for construction of two-component silicone sealant

base treatment
Clean the surface of the substrate, remove impurities such as oil stains, dust, and floating slurry, and ensure that the bonding surface is dry and free of floating dust.
The moisture content should be controlled at around 9% (the surface of the substrate turns white) to avoid construction in humid environments.
Mixing ratio control
Strictly mix components A and B according to the ratio provided by the manufacturer (such as a volume ratio of 10:1 or a mass ratio of 1:1) to avoid abnormal curing.
Use a specialized mixer to stir in both forward and reverse directions for 15 minutes, ensuring uniform and consistent color without any striped color difference.
Construction environment requirements
Temperature: 10-40 ℃, humidity: 40% -60%, avoid extreme temperature and humidity conditions.
During summer construction, the curing speed can be slowed down by cooling the workshop or adjusting the dosage of component B.
Curing and maintenance
After the glue injection is completed, it should be fully cured until the sealant is completely cured. It is forbidden to handle or move it.
After the maintenance period, a batch peeling adhesion test shall be conducted to confirm the bonding effect between the sealant and the substrate.

The small molecules released during the curing process may cause slight irritation to the skin and eyes. It is recommended to apply in a well ventilated area.
Wear protective gloves and goggles during operation to avoid direct contact with colloids.
