ASD-602 hollow glass butyl adhesive is a single component, solvent-free, non fogging, non vulcanizing, and permanently plastic first layer sealant used for hollow glass. ASD-602 insulating glass butyl rubber maintains its plasticity and sealing property in a wide temperature range, and its surface does not crack and remains hard, with excellent aging resistance. It has excellent adhesion to materials such as glass, aluminum alloy, galvanized steel, stainless steel, etc.

Using range
This product is used for the first sealing of insulating glass and can be matched and used with two-component silicone insulating sealant, two-component polysulfide sealant, two-component polyurethane sealant, and single component hot melt adhesive to achieve full double sealing. The double sealed insulating glass made with this product has been tested and qualified by the National Glass Testing Center and meets various requirements of the national standard.
Method of use
• Clean the aluminum partition strip thoroughly and set it aside for future use.
• Place the butyl rubber in the extruder cylinder and heat it to 115 ° C-140 ° C. After the temperature controller maintains a constant temperature, take out the rubber strip and check for uniformity without interruption. Apply the rubber strip to the aluminum spacer groove, let it cool slightly, and press it with clean glass to form a semi-finished insulating glass product. After applying the outer sealant and curing, it is the finished insulating glass product.
• Before making double insulated glass, necessary compatibility tests must be conducted on the double sealant to extend the service life of the insulated glass.
